Can a wood pellet stove heat water in my house?

This is a question that we’re often asked and we’re pleased to say that that answer is yes!

Made in Wales, the Lundy 8 model is a wood pellet stove with a compact high-efficiency boiler incorporated.  This means that you get all of the benefits you would expect from a wood pellet stove (like our Lundy 5 model) including a beautiful flame, silent operation, remote control, easy cleaning and 4.2kW of room heating bliss.

The ‘back boiler’ on the Lundy 8 model will provide heating for your central heating and hot water system.  It does this via the integral boiler which has the benefit of a quiet operation boiler and 3.8kW to the hot water circuit.

Wood pellets are fed into the stove via a hopper which can be easily ‘topped up’ when needed. The pellets then feed into the stove at a rate that meets your programmed requirements.

Operating the Lundy 8 wood pellet stove is hassle-free. It can be timed to provide heat and water when requested or be programmed to automatically ignite via a side panel on the stove itself, or via remote control.

When our team is on-site at installation and commissioning, our engineers will demonstrate how to operate the wood pellet stove and provide on-going support if required.

This stove was the winner of Hearth and Home Pellet Appliance of the Year.  If you’d like to talk to a member of our team, all you need to do is contact us here and we’ll be happy to help.
