Our Accreditations
We have spent many years perfecting our pellet stoves. To do this, we design and build them ourselves to make sure you truly love the result. Because we value quality and service at Island Pellet Stoves, we personally check every stove we install.
In addition, our various Approvals and Awards are proof of our high standards. As a result, when you buy from us, you can trust that we go above and beyond the standard industry rules. Ultimately, we work with the best in the business to give you total peace of mind.
HETAS Approved
HETAS is a non-profit group that sets the high standards for the heating industry. For example, they act as an expert advisor to the government to help shape the rules for wood-burning stoves. In addition, they train businesses like ours to make sure every customer receives honest and reliable service.
Because we are HETAS approved, we follow the best safety rules and meet strict standards for every installation. As a result, you can relax knowing we will provide a high-quality stove and expert advice every step of the way.
Furthermore, we are proud to hold the HETAS Cleaner Choice certificate. This award proves that our stoves use modern technology to protect the environment. To earn this, HETAS reviews our test data to confirm that our stoves beat even the toughest pollution limits. If you want to see the details, you can learn more about these standards on the HETAS website.

DEFRA (Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs)
The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) is a government group that works to protect our nature and climate. Their main goal is to reduce pollution and create a greener world for future generations.
Because of these high standards, all of our pellet stoves are DEFRA-approved. This means they fully follow the rules of the Clean Air Act. Today, many parts of the UK—especially cities and large towns—are “Smoke Control Areas.” In these places, the law says you can only use specific fuels or approved appliances like ours.
Therefore, you can feel confident when you buy one of our stoves. You will know they are legal to use no matter where you live. In addition to being legal, our stoves are built to be eco-friendly. We design every model to lower emissions and keep the air in your community clean and fresh.

UK Patented Product
The stoves we supply at Island Pellet Stoves are officially UK patented. This means the special technology that makes our stoves run silently—while producing a beautiful flame—is protected. Because of this, you won’t find anything else like them on the market. Our modern stoves truly are one of a kind.
By focusing on the small details that improve both the look and the feel of our products, we have created a stove that stands out from the rest. In fact, getting our technology patented shows how much we care about delivering top quality to our customers.
Furthermore, we make sure our pellet stoves mimic the classic look of a traditional log burner, yet they offer much more. For instance, they provide a modern style, high efficiency, and low emissions. Ultimately, we are dedicated to leading the way in design and performance for the entire pellet stove industry.
Hearth & Home Exhibition Award
Back in 2015, we were honoured to win the “Pellet or Wood Chip Appliance of the Year” award at the Hearth & Home Exhibition in Harrogate. As this is the UK’s leading trade show, it attracts the world’s biggest fireplace brands every single year.
Because a panel of industry experts judges these awards, the competition is always fierce. Ultimately, the judges chose our Lundy stove specifically for its outstanding flame quality. We are still very proud that top experts consider it to be the best pellet stove on the market today.
Furthermore, winning this award proves our deep commitment to modern design and quality builds. It also reinforces our reputation for making stoves that work perfectly while looking beautiful. In fact, you don’t need a traditional log burner to get a real fire; instead, you can enjoy a calming, “lazy” flame right inside our Lundy stoves.
